Rae Wellness is a team of licensed therapists based in Washington, DC providing specialized services in:

Our clinical focus includes eating disorder treatment and trauma recovery.

Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to independently consent to services. For clients under 18, a parent or legal guardian must provide written consent in accordance with District of Columbia laws.
Services are provided to individuals physically located in Washington, DC at the time of treatment unless otherwise permitted by licensure laws.

Not Emergency Services
Rae Wellness does not provide emergency or crisis services.

Scope of Services
​
Individual Therapy
One-on-one psychotherapy sessions focused on eating disorder recovery, trauma processing, and related mental health concerns.
EMDR
EMDR is a structured psychotherapy approach used to treat trauma and distressing experiences. Participation requires clinical assessment and informed consent.
Coaching
Coaching services are not psychotherapy and do not constitute medical or mental health treatment. Coaching is focused on personal growth, accountability, and goal development.
Group Therapy
Group therapy involves therapeutic sessions with multiple participants. While confidentiality is emphasized, Rae Wellness cannot guarantee other participants will maintain confidentiality.
No Guarantee of Outcomes
Therapy and coaching outcomes vary by individual. Rae Wellness does not guarantee specific results. Progress depends on multiple factors including client participation, readiness, and external circumstances.
Appointments, Cancellations & Fees

Fees
Fees for services will be provided prior to the start of treatment and are subject to change with notice.
Payment
Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Cancellations
We require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be charged the full session fee.
Telehealth Services
If participating in virtual sessions:

You agree to use a secure, private internet connection.

You understand there are risks associated with technology, including interruptions or unauthorized access.

You agree to confirm your physical location at the start of each session, as required by DC law.
Telehealth services are provided in accordance with applicable District of Columbia regulations.
Confidentiality
Rae Wellness complies with applicable privacy laws, including HIPAA.
Information shared in therapy is confidential except where disclosure is required or permitted by law, including but not limited to:

Risk of harm to self or others

Suspected abuse or neglect of a child, elderly person, or vulnerable adult

Court order or subpoena

Medical emergencies

Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the District of Columbia.
Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in courts located in Washington, DC.
